Introduction
When you take a clear cut look on the world around, you would discover the great accomplishments achieved over time. These great achievements in the light of inventions and innovations have helped to elevate the difficulties humanities have had to face over the years. For instance consider the invention of the television set, mobile phones, laptops, motor vehicles, gas cookers amongst many others and innovations such as the new ideas produced over time to help improve the various productive activities man is engaged in, and the problems that they have helped to solve. These wonderful people who had brought all this beautiful things to light, most certainly must have encountered challenges along the way. They must have been inhibited possibly by others who did not believe in their dreams, or they must have also been tagged insane and out of place even as they had pursued the fulfillment of their dreams. Yet with all this streams of trouble they still went ahead to accomplish their goals in life, which in turn have helped improve the livelihood of humanity, all because they had lived a lifestyle exhibiting the creative power of FAITH.
Faith defined
According to the bible, faith can be defined as the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things unseen. Going by this definition, faith is the ability to see beyond the limitations inherent in life. It is looking beyond what natural eyes can see and living in the realm of possibilities and potentials. People who are said to have faith are those who will never make statements such as “it is impossible” or “it can not be done”, people who will always recognize possibilities even in the light of grave challenges. They are those who look to see what many may not recognize when they look in the same direction. Who must have been tagged insane or Looney, as they would say and work towards achieving great things the human mind will ordinarily not be able to grasp, in the ordinary field of logic.
Acts of faith usually go against logic in the beginning, but latter comes to make sense after the goal has been accomplished. For instance, if you consider the case of Thomas Edison, the man who invented the electric bulb, you would understand this point. As after series of failures and consistent criticism, he had so many reasons to give it all up but propelled by the power of faith he went ahead to achieve his life’s goal.
