One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. I have been thinking for awhile now, pondering on the subject maturity, wondering what it actually means to attain such a status. Questions keep pouring into my mind concerning this issue…

What is maturity? What does it entail? I have been searching for answers to satisfy such questions but as time passed and I grew older my curiosity grew even bigger. In the past I confused maturity for age, size or any form of physical development not until it dawned on me that maturity had little or nothing to do with physiological development…. (more…)
