Ikeja Hotel Plc engages in the acquisition and development of hotel and tourist facilities in Nigeria. It operates three hotels:
· Sheraton Lagos Hotel / Abuja Sheraton Hotel & Towers
· Towers Hotel
· Federal Palace Hotel
Ikeja Hotel was founded in 1972 as Properties Development Limited and changed its name to Ikeja Hotel Limited in 1980. Later, it changed its name to Ikeja Hotel Plc in 1991. The company is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
Stock Report
The stock as been active in teams of movement but they have not been traded ie buying and selling of stocks has been very low.
As at 1st February, 2008 Ikeja hotels sold a Private Placement opportunity @ N6:62 in 29 days it increased to N7:00 and fell to N6:99 after a few days, exactly 2days later….quite discouraging, right?!….amazingly it increased again after 22 days to N8:24 and then to N10:60 on the 20th March, 2008…as at 18th April, 2008 it fell to N8:55…whoo!
The stock price as you can see has been on a down-ward trend and is still expected to go down further; it’s a stock to watch out for until it gets at its final low so as to invest at that point, which would be the best time to…
