Just as the gradual wash away of the seashore
Our dreams have been eaten up by the passing of wasted years
We had hoped for something better from what we now see
But life presents us realities that make our hearts bleed
Our nation was one to reckon with… (more…)

Guilty Hands….
We have become slaves of the times
As our hearts yield to the present state of reality
So we will not take a stand as to what we want
But unwilling we accept what we are given
Harsh as the pouring heat in the desert
Like the unending streams of the water falls
Life is as the painful strokes that will not stop coming
Evident are stripes that line our backs like tribal marks
And our strained faces will accommodate no smiles
We have fought once before for the dreams we once conceived… (more…)

Criticism
Most people do not understand the importance of criticism, as they either use it as a malicious weapon when they at the giving end and perceive it as a personal blow when they are at the receiving end. These categories of people as outlined above simply do not understand the crucial importance of “feedback”.
I love criticism but not as a weapon for breaking a person’s drive for achieving great things but as a means to redirect or give correction. I come from a society where people find confidence in them selves by successfully destroying the other persons self respect and esteem….. (more…)

Vain Perspective
Human beings are highly impressionable, as they judge based on the physical assessment of the things they see. They make judgments, conclusions, establish character status and build perspective based on this attribute. Even with eyes humanity is blind, as we do not see beyond the fact. We do not consider what could be or what could happen. All we see are how things appear, most times without regards to root cause.
For instance when we see a poor man we call him lazy, when we see a prostitute we say she is worthless. But when we consider the rich we say he is hard working, or the beautiful we say they are capable.
We are blinded by reality. (more…)

My Life as a ‘Student’
There are times in life when you take ‘drastic’ measures and people around you wonder ‘what- in -the –hell’ you are doing, critics always have one thing or the other to say about you, mine was no contrary…………
It all started when I got into the university, it was like a relief, ‘a dream come through’, finally I had gotten admitted into the university for a diploma program after writing Jamb like three times to no avail, the first result was seized, 2nd was195 and 3rd was also seized, so when I had the opportunity to go for a diploma I grabbed it with both hands…….. Talking Faith 2
The complexities of faith
As previously defined, faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence unseen. This definition in essence establishes a relationship between faith and vision. As faith is basically concerned with conceiving imagination; which is constructing possibilities in abstract form. The bible also establishes that faith without work is dead. This in essence would mean that faith also has a lot to do with action. Therefore, faith can simply be referred to as the act of conceiving a vision and bringing such vision to pass through action. For one to live in the true sense of faith one must be ready to combine imagination with practicality so as to breathe life into ones dreams and then live to the fullness of purpose. Faith is not in existence without this two, as just conceiving a vision without action will make no impact to the state of reality or just acting without a vision will only constitute walking towards no given direction. For instance let’s take a cue from Rev, Martin Luther king, the man who had a dream for a new American nation. One without racial discrimination, victimization, molestation, amongst a lot more evidently present in America as at his time, also went ahead to set protests, in order to bring to light the realization of his dreams. He knew where he was going and there fore he worked towards getting there. (more…)

Talking Faith!!!!!!!……….
Introduction
When you take a clear cut look on the world around, you would discover the great accomplishments achieved over time. These great achievements in the light of inventions and innovations have helped to elevate the difficulties humanities have had to face over the years. For instance consider the invention of the television set, mobile phones, laptops, motor vehicles, gas cookers amongst many others and innovations such as the new ideas produced over time to help improve the various productive activities man is engaged in, and the problems that they have helped to solve. These wonderful people who had brought all this beautiful things to light, most certainly must have encountered challenges along the way. They must have been inhibited possibly by others who did not believe in their dreams, or they must have also been tagged insane and out of place even as they had pursued the fulfillment of their dreams. Yet with all this streams of trouble they still went ahead to accomplish their goals in life, which in turn have helped improve the livelihood of humanity, all because they had lived a lifestyle exhibiting the creative power of FAITH.
